I got the official offer letter from my new job the other day, yeah! I’ve finally found a work environment that I can fit into which is more in line with what i’m passionate about. Exciting, anxious fun times. In the meantime I am hoping I can have a few works done for the artwalk which is a couple weeks away. Also hoping I can squeeze in enough time for the big art fair coming up later next month. Ahh July might be crazy…

Also later on July 25th i’ll have a booth setup at the Alki art fair along the water. It’s going to be a busy June as i’ll be working on trying to get some stuff for both shows. Not much else going on…well…cept for a really cool job opportunity that came my way but more on that later…

I received an email from the good people at Fancy/Schmancy/Nancy with kind words for my stuff and asking if i’d be interested in taking part in a show later this July. Very cool stuff! yeah! If you’ve never been to their shops before maybe you should. They specialize in handmade goods that are so full of win they must be seen to believe.

I met with Shannon Roach today(managing director of the Vera Project). They have asked that I update their brochure for the upcoming year and I was pretty excited about the opportunity to work with them again. Vera kicks ass. And Shannon kicks ass too.

I’ve been having some extremely good luck on my days off. Sunny and 70+ was the plan for today. Yeah! Spent the day tracing the path of Belltown’s art walk(2nd friday of each month). Should have known most of the places would be closed on a monday. I did find some really rad graffiti and paste up work alongside some japanese restaurant on 2nd ave(i think the name was Wann something) . I also ran into my old friend the needle.
